How to cook the best Cajun Seafood Pasta

Ingredients:

2 cups of heavy whipping cream

1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil

1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme

2 teaspoons salt

2 teaspoons ground black pepper

1 ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1 teaspoon ground white pepper

 

1 cup chopped green onion

1 cup chopped parsley

½ pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

½ pound scallops

½ shredded Swiss cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 pound dry Fetuccini pasta

 

Directions:

  1. Boil water and some 2 tablespoons of oil into the water.
  2. Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling water until al dente.
  3. Meanwhile, pour cream into large skillet. Cook it over medium heat and stir constantly until its boiling point.
  4. Reduce the head., and add the herbs, salt, peppers, onions, and parsley. Simmer it for about 7-8 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
  5. Stir in seafood, cook it until the shrimp turn into red.
  6. Add the cheese and stir it properly to make sure that it has properly blended.
  7. Drain the pasta.
  8. Serve sauce over noodles

Tips:

If you want to drain your pasta without any hassle, you can use a pot strainer or a colander.
